First produce tally of the year! I am excited to keep track of our growing for an entire calendar year. Last year I started counting in June, so missed a good amount of numbers.
January 2011:
67 lbs. of fresh fruits and veggies
37 eggs
We have a 1/10th acre lot and a 20x20 foot community garden plot.
This month's produce includes lots of Valencia oranges, bok choy, swiss chard and peas.

I'm so jealous of your orange crop. I grew up in Arizona with citrus trees in the backyard, and I didn't know just how spoiled I was. Now I live in NYC and we pay through the nose for oranges and grapefruit.
What a beautiful shot of the orange tree. I am so impressed with your gardening skills!
The longer you leave the oranges on the tree the sweeter they become. We just harvest the two we need for breakfast each day--but I admit that the valencia's are not as sweet this year. We haven't yet started to eat those. Your peach tree blossoms are BEAUTIFUL!
