Vermont and other adventures

11:30 p.m. "My nerves told me I was going to Vermont," my white-faced dd solemnly explained to me. First, I'll relate dd's narration, then I will describe my actions, then you will say, "Ohhhhh!" and understand this statement about Vermont. Unless you are my dh, then you still will not get it and I will need to explain further even though you were there when it happened. Dd: "My nerves told me I was going to Vermont. Well, not all my nerves. A few nerves told me to stay in bed. But I got up because most of my nerves told me I was going to Vermont." Me: Trying to keep a concerned, motherly expression on my face whilst rinsing pepperoni pizza vomit out of the bathtub. All together now: "Ohhhhh!"

Vermont should put that on their license plates. That's funny. Hope she's feeling better and nobody else gets it :)

I audibly laughed out loud at this, although I had to admittedly read it twice to join you with ,"Ohhhh!"
