The fruits -and vegetables- of our labors

You have to admit that is gorgeous. These are all things dh and I picked from our backyard today. Whoever thought New Jersey should be called the garden state had never been to California. For having a minuscule yard (one tenth of an acre), our garden rocks. Today we picked yellow crookneck squash, tomatoes, pear tomatoes, strawberries, oranges, basil and a few nasturtium blossoms. They taste kind of like radishes if you are wondering. I sauteed the squash, tomatoes and basil in some butter and garlic. I love summer produce.

Hello!!
I found you by way of The Nester's comment section. I have to say I am a little jealous of your garden. Your fruits and veggies look delicious!!
Also, I had an idea for you. You may not really need it, but since you didn't want to use all your ribbon to make a board like Nester's, have you thought of wrapping a piece of wood with fabric and chicken wire, then framing it? You could use clothespins to tack you little notes or fabrics of inspiration... I plan on making one of these when Hell freezes over!! Just kidding, I really want to make one soon.
Hope you have a great week!!

Awesome idea, Elise! I'll have to see if we have any leftover chicken wire.
